In her debut solo exhibition ‘Blow Up’, Aoife Billings investigates patterns of build-up and release - of anger, stress, sadness, and sexual tension. Exploring the rub and the prickle of intense emotional displays, Aoife uses ceramic sculpture, oil painting and water features to hone in on the pleasure of expression, and the discomfort of bearing witness.
